Dubai Municipality

On the request of the Dubai Municipality the Center has prepared a guideline for the preservation and maintenance of the cultural property defining the concept for the assessment of cultural heritage, taking into consideration the environmental conditions affecting the region.
The Arabian Gulf region in general and the city of Dubai in particular has a series of unique buildings and heritage sites with various functions: residential buildings and markets, commercial and defensive castles.
