Al-Mussalla (Ghamamah), Abu Bakr and Omar Mosques
1 - Mussalla mosque:
The mosque is located at west al-Manakha, near al-Haram an-Nabawy Mosque. It was renovated during Sultan Hasan Ibn Qala'un. The mosque plan is rectangular consists of two parts the entrance and praying area. The minaret shaft is square, second storey is octagonal ending with a cylindrical part topped with a small ribbed dome.
2 - Abu Bakr mosque:
The mosque is located at Manakha street. The first mosque built at this location was during Omar Abdel Aziz ( 87-93 A.H./ 706-12 A.D.) The plan is square covered by a dome; the minaret stool is square then cylindrical.
3 - Omar Mosque:
The mosque is located at al-Manakha area.The mosque was renovated during the reign of as-Sultan Abdel Majjid in 1266 A.H./ 1849 A.D. The mosque is square in plan covered by a dome of 12.00 m high.
