Historic Urban Areas: Al-IRFAN CITY

The Omani cabinet of royal court affairs had entrusted CIAH and CPAS to prepare the master plan of al-Irfan city. The proposed masterplan is designed to be an example in planning the contemporary Islamic city. It is considered as a general framework and a model of the spatial formation of the Islamic city
