Al-Tarini (al-Mitwalli) mosque
The mosque is located in al-Mahalla city, Gharbiyya Governorate. It was founded in the ninth century A.H./ 15 century A.D. The mosque has a rectangular plan, is composed of a squared courtyard surrounded by four riwaqs, Qibla riwaqs composed of four aisles, while the south riwaqs is composed of three aisles and the North western one is composed of two aisles. The minaret has three storeys, it is composed of a square shaft; the second and the third are octagonal topped with rows of stalactites.
